Hey everyone, I feel like talking your ears off today ... so I hope your ready to read lol First I would like to say thank you to everyone for your support in the site, helping to sell books and sending our link out to the people that you know. The feed back we are getting so far about The Beauty Within has all be very positive ... seems to be everyone really likes it and loves the poems in it ... some have touched many people and have brought tears to their eyes ... this is a good thing! Well I am now starting on the Autism book ... a few people had not responded back from my emails or messages I have left them, therefore they had to be replaced by other writers in order for us to get this book ... published for the set due date that we have set for it, which is mid-end July ... all writers had a 3 month time period to submit their submission form, registration fee and 3 poems. I want to thank the new writers that took on the responsibility of the writers who had wanted to be in this project and wrote for me within the past week, I must say there were 6 people who had to do so ... So thank you Deb, Chris, Jesse, Sheila, Steve, and Bruce ... you are definitely all shinning stars in my books and appreciated for your quick response and wonderful efforts to help us out within such a short time span. If anyone is interested we had submitted a pre-purchase button for Hidden Pieces our Autism book ... please go to the Merchandise page if you would like to put in an order and reserve your copy now. Ok well onto The Beauty Within ... as of today I have 51 books left ... 30 were out on consignment and as soon as I receive the money back from those who have the books we will have raised over 1000.00 for Breast Cancer Research! ... You all ROCK! ... Thank you for all your hard efforts on getting our names out there for people to buy books from us and to raise funds for this cause. We have now started two new projects ... Our Poetic Knight project for Prostate/Testicular Cancer and our Ladies In Waiting and Pending Knights project for the Wish Foundation. Any males that are interested in writing for our Poetic Knight book please contact Sharon at Sharon@innercircleofpoets.com ... and do so quickly as most spots have been filled just within one day. Ladies in Waiting and Pending Knights are an introduction to children and young adults between the ages of 10 - 18 writing for the Wish Foundation ... If any of our writers have children in that age category and they would like to write for this project please email me at Maggs@innercircleofpoets.com ... normally we take only writers from off of Poets' Workshop but with this project we are accepting our own children into it. If you know of someone who falls into this category from the Poets' please direct them to our site and have them and their parents check us out. Since we have had problems with people dropping out of the Autism book we are going to run things a bit differently from now on in ... You must pay your registration fee immediately once you are accepted to write for us ... this will prove that you are interested in writing for us and will not leave us hanging and searching for poets on the very last day ... there will be set deadlines ... if you do not meet the deadline then you will be forfeited from the book you are writing for and lose your registration fee upon doing so ... I think this will leave me not having a panic attack at the end of submissions lol Please pray or send your thoughts to GeorgeAnn Smith's son Erik ... he is having tests done at the moment ... lets all hope everything goes well Amy Johnson had a newspaper article done about the Inner Circle and our efforts ... if you are in the book you can do the same ... get in contact with your local newspaper and tell them that you have been published in a book that is raising money and awareness for a charity.
