When the Shade is Drawn

The Wheel of life
continues to turn.
The flames of hope
still brightly burn.

A full life to live,
we're born to the Earth,
With lessons to learn
from day of birth.

Strength of character,
a man shall build,
And grow to love
`till his heart is filled.

He'll fashion a bridge
of friendships dear.
With honor he'll tend them
and keep them near.

And when it is twilight,
the final shade drawn,
With respect, this man,
we'll reflect upon.
