Questions Unanswered

Can you hear me?

Dragging bodies off the floor
A scene of death in the parlor.
Fear begins to overcome,
All that survived the winter.
Blood running down the hall
Whispers and shadows creep.

Where are you?

Searching the mind for a collaborator.
Where will I find my infatuation,
When there is so much desire without me.
Conclusions create a world of longing despair.
Fractionating my mind into nothingness.
Consternation without warning or choice.

Will you come back?

Off in a land far from home,
You have no idea the anguish created.
Leaving a beating heart lying on the floor to expire.
The soul it belongs, never able to conjugate the flesh.
You never looked back upon this grieving essence.
You just walked away.

Do you pray for me?

Pieces too scattered to ever pick up,
Disseminate my soul in a purgatory of apprehension.
I can feel the sins of a past regression.
Even God will not vindicate my actions.
Though He will pardon my ignorance.
For He had to die to permit my amaranthine personage.

Did you really want me to die?
