Stacy M Waldmann

Stacy Waldmann lives in Missouri with her wonderful husband and five children. I am very thrilled to be apart of the Inner Circle of Lady Poets. I think that this is a most worthy cause to be apart of. My submissions in this book are dedicated to all the women in my family, to those that have fought and lost. In hopes that the next generation doesn't have to fight so hard in the battle of Breast Cancer.

 

 

Waiting, Looking

I and Diogenes are waiting, looking
He has his lantern and I have my heart and soul
though the look and hunt can take its toll
I will keep searching, digging and poking

Is it real what we search for, I'm still hoping
We will find it, don't diamonds come from coal
I and Diogenes are waiting, looking
He has his lantern and I have my heart and soul

You may wonder what we are looking for
or maybe you know where to find it
I will help keep his lantern lit
as I continue to pass down this lore.
